Next Round is not medical care

The App is a self-help and motivational tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the App is a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you read in the App.

Alcohol withdrawal can be medically dangerous and in some cases life-threatening. If you are stopping or reducing heavy drinking, talk to a doctor first.

The App is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or someone's safety is at risk, call 911, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or contact the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.

The AI Coach

The App includes an "AI Coach" chat feature. It is software, not a person. It is not a sponsor in the sense used by Alcoholics Anonymous or any other recovery program, and it is not a counselor, therapist, or clinician.

To generate replies, the messages you send — along with the profile details you have entered, such as your name, motivations, and triggers — are transmitted to a third-party artificial intelligence provider (currently Google). Their handling of that data is governed by their own terms and privacy policy. Please do not share information you would not want processed by a third party.

AI-generated responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Use your judgment, and do not rely on the AI Coach for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

Your data

Information you enter — your sobriety date, streak, chips, check-ins, and checklists — is stored on your device. You can permanently delete it at any time from Profile › Privacy Settings.

Your conversations with the AI Coach are not among it. They are held in memory only and are discarded when you close the App.

This data is included in your device backup, so restoring a new phone or transferring from an old one brings it with you. That backup is yours — it goes to your own iCloud or computer, never to us. Deleting the App deletes the copy on the device.

Recovery programs and outside resources

The App references Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, SMART Recovery, and other organizations and materials, and may link to outside websites and apps.

Kelomai LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations. Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. has not approved, endorsed, or reviewed this App. "Alcoholics Anonymous" and "AA" are registered trademarks of Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc.

We do not control outside resources and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Links are provided for convenience only.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; • rent, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App; • use automated means to access, scrape, or interfere with the App; or • attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any systems the App relies on.

You are responsible for any mobile data or carrier charges you incur while using the App.

Updates and availability

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, and we may stop offering the App at any time. Some features may stop working if you do not install updates. We are not obligated to provide updates or to keep any particular feature available.

No warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content in it is accurate or complete.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KELOMAI LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IF ANY LIMITATION ABOVE IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kelomai LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.

Apple devices

These Terms are between you and Kelomai LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple provides no warranty for the App to the maximum extent permitted by law. Direct any claims about the App to us, not to Apple. You may use the App only on a device you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above, and where the changes are significant we will make that clear in the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Kent County, Delaware.
